Looking for light

I’m interested in what a portrait can tell us about the life and times.

The Covid-19 lockdown was challenging to say the least and it demanded steely resilience at times plus a huge dose of hope and self-discipline.

As restrictions finally eased, it was the simple, every day things that I longed for: God, I wanted a haircut!

Pleased to say that this painting has been selected for The Society of Women Artists Annual Open Exhibition 2020. Usually held at Mall Galleries, this year it is online so super easy to visit.
